Hi,My father has met with an accident and suffering from multibone fracture(stapula,crevicle ,Fronf rib 5,back rib 3).It has also hurt his lungs.Plese suggest whether he can under go with surgery for stapula.He is 60 yrs old.which is the best hospital to undergo for surgery. Dear Abhaya,thanks for choosing health care magic.See in case of trauma fractures age in not a bar.If you treating doctor feels that he need surgery then you should go for it.Looking his age and multiple injuries it is preferable that he should be treated in multidisciplinary hospital where if needed other specialist are also available and if anything goes wrong medically that can be taken care of easily.
