hi doctor, good afternoon.. i am experiencing pain since two days, an internal swelling or lump near anus in the right hip.. and also little fever since one day.. actually I had the problem of fissures and also bleeding on and off since seven to eight years..but now completely out of that problem since one year as I have treated it by natural fibres after using antibiotics..no problem in bowel movements also at all..but what is this sudden development ..can I be helped with your answer please

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history and understood your concerns.
Noted the history of anal fissure and bleeding per-rectum in past which has been controlled by high fiber diet. Now you have a painful swelling in the left peri-anal area indicating peri-anal cellulitis or an abscess.
You certainly need a course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medications.
Sitz bath.
High fiber diet and also needed is a laxative to keep the stools soft.
You may need incision and drainage if the abscess has already been formed.
Get a consultation of a General Surgeon.
