Can Nick In Femoral Artery Cause Bed Wetting?

My husband is 71 and took quite a bad fall while trying to stop a moving vehicle. He takes warfarin for A-Fib and nicked his femoral artery and also hit his head on the cement road a couple times.

His thigh was so bad they ignored his head and now he is bedwetting. It is not every night and when it happens he states it feels like he is in a coma as he tries to wake up. Any Advice?

Thank you ,

I would be concerned that he had some bleeding in his brain because of the trauma and the warfarin. If the trauma was severe enough to cause a nick in the femoral artery, I also wonder about damage to the lower spinal cord. Either of these things might cause urinary incontinence. He needs to see his doctor and get a prompt evaluation. He might need further studies such as an MRI, and the warfarin level (INR) should be checked (they should have checked this when he was seen before). Hope this helps.
