Can Nicotine Patches Heal Or Hurt The Circulatory System?

Hello. I have recently had 10 dental implants. I have smoked about 20 cigarettes a day for over 30 years. I stopped smoking the day of my oral surgery and have not smoked since. I have been using nicotine patches. I have recently discovered that nicotine in any form is a vasoconstrictor. Help! Does this mean that I have been hurting my circulatory system, and hindering my healing with nicotine patches?

well.. technically, yes. And, the patch is very unlikely to be as bad as the cigarettes. So, it's still better than smoking.
