Hello,

As she was of late diagnosed with vertebral fracture. Complete bed rest is advised.

Usually, the vertebral fracture doesn't lead to more damage if it's a non-displaced fracture.

Taking proper bed rest in the initial stages and later after 6-8 weeks doing simple exercises will help her recover well.

There is nothing much damage can happen so you can stay relaxed. But please insist on your mother for more bed rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
