Can Norethisterone Cause Any Problem During Pregnancy?
jennifer lyon, 27, 8 stone 4. 5ft 3. my last period was at then end of july between 20 - 30th not sure on dates. i started taking norethisterone 5mg to delay my period for my hols 3 days before i thought my next period was due which was the 21st august on the 24 august i stopped taking it, i expected to have my period 3 days later. I took a pregnancy test and I m 6 weeks pregnant, was i pregnant while taking them.

Yes, you had consumed pills while you were pregnant. Norethisterone is a hormonal preparation and it has capacity to cause congenital anomaly in baby so you should terminate this pregnancy and save sorrow in life. Never ever take hormonal pills for postponing /proponing periods. While you are planning a baby.
