Can Norethisterone Used For Delaying The Periods?

I'm going on a backpacking trip in a week and realized I will be on my period. I've done research and found that norethisterone can be used to delay a menstrual cycle, do you know if this is something that can be asked for at a general walk-in clinic in Canada, or should I try to see a gynecologist?
