Can Normal Activities Be Done For The Tear Of Lateral Posterior Horn And Knee Joint Effusion?

I had a tear of my lateral posterior horn and a small sized right knee joint effusion taken care of last Friday. My instructions are that I can stand/walk as tolerated. I ve been on my feet quite a bit and went to the grocery today. Yes, I have swelling...took Ibuprophen and iced while elevating my leg. Is it OK for me to do what I m doing or should I be resting it more?
