Can Petogen Cause Pimples On Face?

hi, i am 27 and i have a 13 month baby, ive been on petogen for 6 months and now. after using it i started getting lots of pimples on my face forehead, could it be that the injection is causing this. ive also changed to Ovral last week. i would like to have other kids, the other Sr said the injection is too strong that is why she changed me to Ovral, coz i still want to have kids again. please confirm

Yes, one of the adverse effects that could arise from using Petogen is acne. You can use anti acne cream that contains benzoyl peroxide.

Petogen contains Depo-Provera, if you're expecting a pregnancy again, then you have to wait for 4 to 10 months. Also, it will take up to 2 years from the date of your last Depo-Provera shot for your chances of getting pregnant to get back to that of a woman who has never had the Depo shot.

While, Ovral contains ethinyl estradiol from which the chances of getting pregnant is much faster. Discuss it further with your obstetrician for appropriate birth control.
