Can Plan B Cause Symptoms Like Nausea, headache, tender Nipples?

I have been feeling pregnancy symptoms 1 month after plan b. But negative home pregnancy tests. Constant nausea, headaches, feeling faint, gas, tender nipples. But I have had 2 heavy periods with cramping/ abdominal pain. I don t believe I am pregnant, but is this an effect of hormonal imbalance from the pill?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. You are experiencing certain side effects of the medication as such medications are hormonal preparations.
The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
In case you do not get bleeding by 3 weeks, you need to take urine pregnancy test along with ultrasound scan of the abdomen and seek medical attention promptly to know what could have caused delay in getting bleeding.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
