Can Plant Based Supplements Be Taken While On Lymecycline?

I’ve been on Lymecycline for about 2 weeks now, i want to take plant based supplements alongside Lymecycline, but before i do i want to make sure if its safe to take them while im on Lymecycline? The main ingredients of the supplements are: Saw Palmetto Berry Extract, Sunflower Oil Powder, Coconut Oil Powder, Acerola Cherry Powder providing Vitamin C, Brown Rice Powder, Natural Beta-Carotene/ Mixed Carotenoids, Vegetable Cellulose (capsule shell). Is it safe to take them?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Lymecycline interacts with retinoids.
Alpha-carotene, beta-carotene and beta-cryptoxanthin are provitamin A carotenoids
Provitamin A carotenoids can be turned into vitamin A (retinol) in the intestine or liver.
You can take supplement after the antibiotics treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
