Can Polio Affected Leg Be Completely Cured?

hello sir.my husband is 28 years old.his one leg is affected by polio.so he usually bents left side while walking and his leg is thin also.can his leg becomes thick and he can walk straight in future.is there any possibility?if yes then in india where it can be cured and what will be the charges?pls provide me the exact details now.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your husbands one leg is affected by polio .You have two questions ,one is that about thickness and other is about lengthening. His leg thickness will not be effected much as only treatment is exercises of muscles.But legs length can be achieved to near normal by limb lengthening operations by illizarov technique. This technique is available in measure cities of India such as Jaipur ,Delhi and Bombay etc. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
