Can Positive ANA And High Level CRP Leads To Sore Wrist And Ankles?
Hello, I just got a blood test back with positive ANA and my level was 7 for CRP. I ve swollen ankles and sore wrists for about 2 months. I m basically sore all over my body and have had tingling and numbness in my feet and toes for 2 years. What does that sound like to you?
As you have this swelling for a longer duration of about 2 months I think the venous return is not that efficient as required.
Based on the ANA and CRP the physician will prescribe the medications to work on it. But then a team approach which includes the - physician, physiotherapist, etc needs to come together to work on this swelling.
When there are cardiac muscle weakness and weak venous pull, there is always a chance of swelling to come up and by performing exercises which can help to reduce the swelling and improve the cardiac muscle strength is good to look for.
In most cases, a team approach has worked well and helped patients to get the maximum outcome score.
Just have a discussion with the physician you been approaching as his team work with a physiotherapist and medication should get you good results.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
