Can Pregnancy Test Be False Negative?

hi,i'm sarra 27 years old with history of PCO my last period was 19th of may 2011,from the second day of my period i had tamoxifen 10mg tab & metformin 850 mg,on the 13th day from the start of last period i had trnsvaginal US it shows rt polycyctic ovary ,Lt ovary has ova 28mm & endometrium 10m thick ,my next period delayed for 6 day I had blood pregnancy test w was negative, now my period is missed for 10 dayes and i have tender breast ,is ther any chance to be pregnant?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. However, negative blood pregnancy test rules out pregnancy.
Your delayed periods may be due to polycystic ovarian disease.
