Can Problem In Back Cause One Leg To Be Shorter Than The Other?

Hello, My right leg is much smaller than my left, especially the thigh area. I have had my left leg checked for blood clots and other problems to see why it might be bigger, but everything came back fine. I think the problem comes from back problems that make me hurt down my right leg. Could my back problems cause my leg to wither?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,

The back pain never reduces the size of the limb. The reason could be some other thing. Please consult local orthopedist. Also, please try to mention to your doctor if the difference is from birth or recent.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala, Diabetologist
