Can Protein Diet Cause Abnormal Blood Test Result?
My husband has been really fatigued and his blood work has come in. He has AST SGOT of 43 ALT SGPT 56 EBV EARLY Antigen AB, IGG 6.2 EBV VCA IGG 8.0 and EBV Nuclear ANTIGEN AB, IGG 8.0. He has been going to a trainer and on a high protein diet can this be causing his symptoms. His doctor is sending him to a specialist but his appointment isn'g until January 31st. We are really worried something is really wrong with him. Any idea what it might be.

Cannot say in his particular case without a direct examination. so far the labs do not seem like they are abnormal.
A LOT of exercise or weight loss from starving oneself or a LOT of calorie restriction WILL cause fatigue even with normal labs.
