Can Rod In Arm Cause Irregular Period And Itchy Vagina?

I m an 18 year of female I have had the rod in my arm for two years and it causes me to have iregular periods. I have now had them for three weeks and im spending alot of money on tampons. But over the past two days my vagina has become unbearably itchy. It has gotten to the point that I am nearly in tears. What do I do???

Hi,

Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. Generally, the implants does not cuss irregular periods. If symptoms persist, the implant had to be removed and alternatives have to be tried. Wishing you good health.
