Can Severe Chest Pain In Sternum Be Because Of Arthritis In Chest?
My girlfriend has been having severe chest pain in her sternum ,,they come and go , she had to go to the hospital the other day because of the severe pain she was having,,do u think it can be arthritis in her chest, the doctors in the hospital told he she was fine though, they took xrays and they didn't find anything

Kindly mention the age of the patient as this is important.
It could be due to arthritis. Kindly get an arthritis panel blood test done and get it evaluated by an orthopaedician.
Also rule out any history of pain in any other joint in the past or present.
Tablet naproxen 500 mg twice daily should suffice for the time being.
