Can Shingles Cause Severe Itching In The Left Hand?

I had an atypical case of SHINGLES March through June 2018 NO rash, only a couple of blisters, pain in left hand and arm. was first diagnosed with broken wrist, not supported by XRays. I am now kept awake at night with extreme itching in my left hand. could there be a relationship. any suggestions to stop itching?

Hello,

Yes, shingles can cause itchiness.

I suggest using Acyclovir for local application.

I also suggest using Cetirizine for the itching.
