Can Stoppage Of Birth Control Pills Causes Sharp Pain In Intercourse?

I came off the birth control pill a about two weeks ago after realising that I was having major mood swings and was very unhappy. However, since coming off the pill I have experienced sharp pain during intercourse at the entrance of my vagina? Could this be related to me coming off the pill, or is it something else?

Hello,

It’s not related to pills and may be due to some other causes. Sometimes the anxiety and stress can cause similar symptoms. However, the pills or stoppage of pills do not cause this symptoms. If the symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
