Can Substituting Oxycodone With Hydrocodone Cause Rashes And Blisters?
my dr changed my script from oxycodone to hydrocodone and I have developed quite a heavy rash. I thought it might be [poison ivy but noticed that im the only one in the family with the rash , seeping blisters. is it a possible reaction to the med switch ?

Hydrocodone can sometimes cause an allergic reaction to susceptible individuals.
As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like pheniramine for symptomatic relief. It is better to switch back to oxycodone.
