Can Suddenly Stopping Abilify Lead To Nausea, Vertigo, Headaches And Blurred Vision?

I was taking Abilify for 34 days and stopped taking the 4 days ago. withdrawal symptoms: nausea, vertigo, symptoms like a migraine, thought process decreased, concentration level decrease, and blurred vision. should I have gradually taken myself off the med. when I saw my dr. Monday, she didn't think I would have any problems help why am I needing to pay if it states free

Hi and thanks for the query,

The system becomes used to a particular drug after being taken for some time. It is true however that this differs from drug to drug. the symptoms you describe are the common withdrawal symptoms with most drugs. It is however important to establish the fact that you never had these symptoms before taken the drugs, or before stopping the drug.
