Can Swallowing A Staple Pin Cause Any Problem In Digestion?
The other day I was eating Chinese food and almost really a small staple they use to staple my food box together I took it out but after that I started to feel a wierd felling in the middle part of my stomach it didn t hurt but it fells like I could have pain there so not sure if I did swallow the other staple or not.what should I do.? Will it affect me?

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
A small staple,if it is accidentally swallowed should not cause any problem and will be passed along with stool.However,you can take bananas to facilitate the passage of any sharp object like staple for that matter for a couple of days.If you have persistent pain, go for plain x-ray abdomen -metallic object will show-up.Rarely it may get stuck at intestinal bend like ileo-cecal junction;even then it will pass out eventually.
