Can Swimming During Nasal Congestion Safe?

I am feeling a bit sick, with a nasal congestion/runny nose. I used to have a headache and a light cough. I also feel a bit fatigued. I am 14, and a competitive swimmer I was wondering whether I would be able to go swim in a pool for a swim practice without any adverse effects?

Hello

It is best that you avoid swimming while having congestion or cold. This can worsen your symptoms or cause sinusitis.

Thanks
