Can Taking 400mg Of Zanocin Twice Daily Result In Overdose For Malaria Patient?

HI , I M BLESSY JAMES, I AM ASKING THIS QUESTION FOR MY HUSBAND. DOCTOR PRESCRIBED ZANOCIN OD 400 MG ONCE DAILY FOR 7 DAYS FOR TREATMENT OF MALARIA. INSTEAD OF ONCE DAILY, HE TOOK TWICE DAILY FOR 5 DAYS BY BYMISTAKELY. THIS OVERDOSE CAUSE ANY PROBLEM?

Though more than the recommended daily dosage, he is well within levels that the body can tolerate without and not sustain complications related to over dosage. I will like to note that this drug is not used for treating malaria. Please check with your doctor to understand what the drug was prescribed for as it is very unlikely to be due to malaria.
