Can Taking BP, Cholesterol And Diabetes Medicine Cause Sweating After A Little Activity?
Hi. I am a 64 year old male, retired from several years in a very stressful job. I am type II diabetic for which I take Metformin. I also take Lysinopril and Pravaststin for blood pressure and cholesterol. My question is about profuse sweating after very little or no activity. Sometimes in the morning while drinking hot coffee I will begin sweating which can be slowed down by drinking ice water. Otherwise, just a little physical activity will cause the flood gates to open and perspiration to flow freely causing issues with my project and my glasses. Any ideas on why this is occurring? I have always been a heavy sweater but never this bad.

Hello, Your bp might not be fine.you may be having hyper or hypotension.get your bp reviewed. Coffee might be the culprit to raise bp. Further, profuse sweating and perspiration are also symptoms of hypoglycaemia (decreased sugar). Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
