Can Taking Nortriptylin Prescribed For Sleeplessness, Pain In Leg In The Night Cause Terrible Smell In The Cologne That Was Once Favourite?

Suddenly, over the last couple of weeks, the cologne I have loved and worn for several years smells terrible to me. I have recently been prescribed Nortriptylin to help with sleeplessness and night leg pain. I am currently taking 30mg. Started with 10mg, max dosage would be 70mg. Could this be the reason? Thank you

Hello

Thanks for the query

Among the side effects of Nortriptyline altered sense of smell is not one of the them. I advice you to notice changes in other common things like fruits, cooked food, etc to know for sure if there is change in sense of smell. I hope I was of help
