Can Taking Omnacortil Forte Syrup Cause Change In Appetite?
Hi dr.My dr. Has advised omnacortil forte 15 mg syrup ,5 ml twice for 5 days for cough to my 20 months old boy.I had given , but there s a drastic change in his appetite.. He has started eating a lot comparatively..Is it a side effect of the medecine.

Omnacortil may increase appetite indirectly due to symptoms of acidity and gastric discomfort.
Omnacortil may be prescribed for sever allergic coughs. However its treatment should be short termed.
Administer after meals to reduce the discomfort. Also follow up as advised. Do not Contiue beyond the prescribed duration of treatment.
