Hi,
The scans have shown that there is no
seizure disorder - this is a good news. In the current scenario: since he is having the episode everyday, I would suggest the following:
1. If he is having the episode almost at the same time every night then it would better to wake him up 15 minutes before that time and generally talk to him and let him go to sleep after that time has passed, do this for a week and this might help.
2. sometime children get used to the dosage and require a little adjustment in the dosage, in this case, you can consult the doctor you have shown earlier, who have prescribed you the medicine to see if it requires any change in the dosage.
3. Since there is a sudden increase in the frequency, we might want to look at the situation, since the world is going through a
pandemic and children are not going to school, or play outside much, is this causing
anxiety at some level. This can be taken care by talking to him and allaying all his concerns and telling him that everything is going to be okay. Spending more time with him in the activities that he likes should be good too.
4. Among other measures: try to set up a good sleep routine, don't let them be awake for pretty late hours and wake up at different time everyday, if he takes coffee, do limit that.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
