Can Taking Probiotic Tablets Lead To Black Stools?
Do you know of any connection between taking probiotic tablets and having black stools? I am referring to my mother who is 82 yrs old;normal ht and wt and started taking probiotics for morning loose stools. She had a normal colonscopy last year.Thanks

Probiotics are not implicated in black stools. Black stools may be caused by Iron pills instead so dont think its of any concern presently
