Can The ADHD Patch Alter Memory?

I have a question, my wife has put my son on the patch for ADHD, she has randomly put him on and off of it, and I do not know which medication he is actually on at this time. He has headaches and does not eat properly as well. I need to know if the medication to treat ADHD can be used to help alter memory, I am in the middle of divorce proceedings and this is the only thing I can think of that could produce the result I have seen. I had caught my wife telling my son things which didn t happen and now my son repeats what she has told him and he seems to honestly believe it. My son has told me without prompting that he doesn t remember things properly when he is on the patch as well. I need to know if what seems to be happening possible and if so, is there any form of help that he should have. Thank you

I can understand your concerns.
No, in my opinion ADHD medications does not alter the memory.
It will be advisable to keep the child away form the complications of a divorce. If possible talk to your wife regarding this. In the interest of the child it will be better not to instil any negative feelings in the child about the parent. Child needs to be on good emotional terms with both the parent after the divorce for him to grow up in a normal way.
If he is emotionally disturbed by the divorce then he may need the counselling.
