Can The Baby Food, Elecare, Cause Constipation And Frequent Urination?
My 10 month old daughter started Elecare 10 days ago, at first was happier disposition, softer poops. Now back to being tearful and grunting with each poop, peeing through 2 #5 diapers worn at the same time. Does Elecare make my baby pee more? She was constipated on other formulas and we stared her on daily prunes. She is 18# and was started on Elecare for a poss Milk allergy by a Peds Gastro.

hi.sorry to hear about your daughter.first of all,what causes her constipation.since the baby is 10 months old.you can give the baby your family diet in softer version like porridge,fresh fruits,vegetable soups,mashed dhal and reduce her milk intake.if you want milkfree formula try zerolac with 0 lactose.if you are still breastfeeding,avoid milk in your diet.hope you got your answer.good day
