Can The Bump On Wrist Be Cured With Ice And Cortisone Cream?

Hi there- I was typing a lot and shoveling snow. My wrist on left hand hurts and I have a bump above the thump. I bought some wrist support glove and I'm wearing it only when it hurts a lot. I applied some ice, cortisone cream and looks like pain and bump doesn't do away. It happened 2 weeks ago. Any advise? Thank you - Klaudia

Hi
I think that bump is a simple haematoma and you just need ice application i dont think cortisone cream has any role in it. It may take a time but make sure that bump is not getting infected. The first sign.of infection is fever.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
