Can The Pain During Urination Be Due To An UTI?

Hi my boyfriend is experiencing pain when he pee s. He says it started when i musterbate him by my hand (bec. I had my period) and touching the the tip of his penis (that was 2 days ago) then after a day when he peed he is experiencing pain...was that a UTI? Or prostate enlargement? We are not always having sex anyway..we only having sex 3days after my menstration because its the safest day even we dont use protections. BUT he always ejaculating before sleeping.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He may have urinary tract infection. He should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. If needed go for culture and sensitivity test. Then take antibiotics accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is prescription based drug so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
He may also have benign prostatic enlargement. To check prostate size and volume he should go for ultrasound abdomen. Then take treatment if needed.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
