Hi, I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and my pain specialist recently put me on Namenda as a treatment for the severe pain and discomfort I deal with on a daily basis. I know Namenda is traditionally used as an Alzheimer's/dementia treatment, and I understand it functions by affecting brain chemistry, specifically with acetylcholine. I've been experiencing a few mild side effects, dizziness, nausea, increased urination, but these headaches are the worst. I was wondering how long I could expect these side effects to continue? These headaches are becoming more frequent and more and more intense, some turning into downright migraines- some of the worst I've ever had. I'm also not noticing any improvement of symptoms... How long until it reaches full therapeutic potency? How long before I know with certainty if it's helping or not?
