My wife has a bladder problem for which she has had 3-4 surgeries. One was injection of Durasphere which has settled at the base of the urethra against the intestine causing intense pain. Curious whether there is a procedure to replace the urethra with a tube containing a valve to open/close flow of urine.
There is not such a tube ,but there are some other procedures that can replace the urethra taking tissue from the inside of our chin.
More information will be given if you consult your wifes urologist for this.
Wish at youe wife the best.
