Can These Drugs Be Continued?
hi this query is abt my grandmom who is 78yr,diabetic(on insulin and oral),CAD( on Nikoran,clopitab) with a h/o craniotomy for SDH a yr ago.She has been on tab strocit500mg BD,donep 10 mg HS,fludac 20mg since a yr.Is it ok to continue these drgs?she is also on eptoin 100md tid.Thank u.

Well she has to continue Diabetic and CAD medicines life long .
As of Strocit she can stop it .
Eptoin unless she had a convulsion in past 1 year she can stop it too .
Fludac is an anti-depression medicine . This can be stopped only after consulting a Psychiatrist.
Donep -- I personally feel it can be stopped but there is difference of opinion among doctors on this medicine so kindly consult your Neurosurgeon .
