Can Thyroid Lobotomy Cause Watery Bowel Movement?

I had a left thyroid lobectomy in November by the end of December I was having loose bowel and my first blood test in January showed hypothyroid so now on meds. If I do not take a fiber supplement my bowel movement is still watery nd loose can this be from the thyroid surgery ( hormone issue)?

Respected user , Hi
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Usually lobectomy of thyroid gland is not associated with such condition ,
neither hypothyroid status .
On the contrary hyperthyroidism is associated with motions .
* Some instances of parathyroid glands can lead this with hormone
mediated mechanisms .

* Needs proper work up and rule out other conditions for final diagnosis

Hope this clears your query .
Welcome for further questions .
Regards .
