Can Thyroid Problem Get Cured Permanently ?

hi, my frd has tyroid problem last 3 year back , its approx 1 point then take medicine for 8 month after this she has stop meditation n check then its normal n now sha has again checked its norganl / no tyroide detected , can its possible ................, can tyroide lever will increase in future ? or its permanentaly cured



her age - 26 year, wait 58 kg , height - 5.00 ft

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

Now your friend is improving from hypothyroidism .....

But you have not mentioned any history regarding tsh level and which dose you ate using of levothyroxine ....

The improvement depend on your diagnosis ....
Let me know you sometime if TSH mild elevated between 5 to 10 and thyroid hormone level normal than subclinical hypothyroid can be there ....
It has good prognosis and even medication might not needed in it ....

If your TSH level persistently high than levothyroxine might needed for it. ..
Usually in hypothyroid life long supplement needed. ....

Dosage adjustment done according to TSH and t4 report .....
So never self stoppage of drug done .....

Consult physician for this ....
