Can Thyronorm Causes Any Side Effects And Can Stress Causes Hypothyroidism?

Hello , Iam 26 years old female, recently I did a generic blood test and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism having a little high TSH (11.97) with T3 and T4 in normal levels. Immediately I consulted an endocrinologist and started my treatment with 50mg thyronorm daily. Now my TSH levels under normal range (0.444), but doctor suggested me to continue the same dosage (50mg). My concern is should I continue this lifelong? with same 50mg? (Which i dont want to, my friends suggest me to switch from Allopathy to Homeopathy where they say it can be cured in some time instead taking medicines daily.) Will taking thyronorm as some side effects like anxiety or tiredness or acidity because im facing it now, not sure why ? And also will hypothyroidism can be a result of stress or tension. Because since few months I was under some pressure and personal tensions . Can that be a reason ? Now although my tension are gone and i do exercise and walking daily. Can i stop these medicines. Please advise

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Dear ma'm, hi! welcome to HCM. you have clear diagnosis of hypothyroidism and ideally you should be on medicine regularly. homeopath , ayurveda and all alternative medicines are good for many things but not for thyroid. the moment you stop drugs, TSH will start rising. thyroid is not working so you need replacement for life. yes may be if antibodies are negative you may try stopping the drug but that works in very few cases, regards!
