Can Tmj Cause Dizziness, Ear Pain And Ringing In The Ears?

dizziness, ear pain, ringing in the ear, left eye weakness hi I am 20 yr old female. it all started 4 weeks ago felt very nauseas and woke up the next morning very dizzy. over the next few weeks the dizziness has improved slightly but still had the pressure in the head slight ear pain and weird lightheaded feeling when walking around. over the past few days my left ear has started ringing had ear pain and my left eye has been feeling weak like its half closed but it isn t. i have had a blood test which has come back normal except my cholesterol levels slightly raised due to being in the family. CT scan fine except for a pineal cyst accidentally found which didn t relate to the symptoms, been to an ent and multiple doctors who have said it could be post viral. how long should it take to improve. I feel like something is wrong if my ears are feeling full and there is slight pain more so in the left with the ringing my left eye feeling weird. what direction should i take? I have heard tmj could cause these symptoms or could it just be fluid in the ear? can you do something to clear or up? what are your thoughts on what it could be and what i should do? Thankyou

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi
with the symptoms you mentioned and considering the acuteness of the symptoms it seems you have fluid behind your ear drum and this is causing the pressure pain ,decreased hearing and dizzines.
this can be due to some viral upper respiratory tract infection.
so to confirm fluid behind your ear,do an impedance test of your ear and ahow the report to an ent specialist.
yes the mentioned symptoms willsubside in the due course of time say 2 mths.still consult an ent specialist and take proper help.
regards
