Can Vaginal Infection Lead To Bad Smell?
Hello. Im a little embarassed to say this but I have a strange odor come from my vagina & it smells like a fart. I m scheduled for my annual check up in about a week but this smell is making me really nervous. I haven t been sexually active in about 5 months. Could it be an infection?

Your problem is most likely bacterial vaginosis.For my patients with such condition i usually treat with metronidazole or clindamycin as oral tablets or vaginal suppositories.I also recommend them to use intimate wash to normalize the vaginal PH and bacterial flora.Hope this may help you.
