Can Viagra Cause Dizziness?
I had a patient complain of diziziness when he stood up and some nausea. He had no other complaints and felt better after he had some water. The only medication he takes is an occasional viagra which he had taken the night before. Can viagra cause dizziness when standing or changing position from supine to sit (as in an orthostatic hypotension response) as well as some nausea 12 hours after it is taken? He called his doctor, but I haven t heard back.

hi welcome to healthcare magic forum,yes as it contains sildenafil citrate as its composition whose action is dilation of blood vessels to maintain erection(penis) ,same way it also causes dilation of blood vessels in brain leading to dizziness, nausea,some times postural hypotension,
