Can We Consider Tylenol Or Motrin Favoured Medication Among Children To Treat Viral Infection?

Hi, my 3 year old son starting having fever of about 104 last night and we have continued motrin and tylenol for all of last night and yesterday to keep fever down. Took him to pediatrician and they said it was just a viral thing, nothing they can do, tonight has 104 fever again, anything we should be looking for, also says he has stomach pain.

If there is stomach pain, Tylenol is safer than Motrin… check proper dosage
Problems pertaining to stomach as a cause of fever may need attention / probably not here – he says it is viral…
Tepid sponging helps in bringing down raised temperature
Symptomatic measures help – till the body’s mechanisms tide over the situation
Do not hesitate to see your doctor again – for any worsening or new problem
