Can We Consider Redness And Irritation Around Blisters A Sign Of Shingles?

Yes, I found a small patch of red irritation with small blister like spots on it about two days ago. It has a burn like feeling pain, but at the same time it is a decidedly sore painful feeling. I m concerned it might be shingles. Only I don t know what shingles looks like or the symptoms.

Hi,

You are right. There is possibly shingle, also called herpes zoster. You immediately consult dermatologist. After firm diagnosis, he may prescribe perfect treatment. Acyclovir in proper dose for 2 to 3 weeks is required. Tramadole may be taken to reduce pain. And steroid in tappering dose is immensely required to prevent post herpetic neuralgia. You may apply silver sulfadiazine cream. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks
