Can Weaning Off From Lamictol Cause Extreme Numbness In Both Legs?
I have recently but slowly gone off of Lamictol for bipolar depression. My doctor plans to start me on something else. My question is can taking this drug out of my system after having been on it for over a year cause extreme numbness in both of my legs?
Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon. It causes in some patient mood changes, lethargy, loss of focus, headache, hostility, body tingling and other such sensory effects. But not bilateral leg numbness. I mean, the withdrawal effect which you are telling isn't widely documented. You may further consult your doctor. May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable starred feedback to help me assist you in a better way. Go to my profile to write a Review regarding your experience with me here at my Virtual clinic.
