Hi. Dr. Samuel. I recently found out my ex girlfriend had a yeast infection that cause her to hash a rash in her vaginal area. We had unprotected sex before she find out about the yeast infection. Is it possible for her to have gave me a yeast infection??

Yeast is a common term used to indicate Candida infection. And Candida infection is not sexually transmitted .

But if you had unprotected sex then I advise you to get tested for STD's .
