Can yeast infections cause lower abdominal pain and urinary urgency/discomfort (not burning but pressure)? Went to the dr for bleeding while urinating, pain, they tested for uti, negative, said it was a kidney stone given my history. I also have a history of yeast infections and have had bloody urine, pain in my lower abdomen/bloating for days, and urgency/pain while urinating...

Hi,

I understand your concern..

Yes, yeast infection can cause lower abdominal pain and urinary urgency/discomfort type of pressure.
Yes, kidney stone can cause bleeding while urinating when UTI test is negative.

But, in your case, the lower abdominal pain is due to kidney stone this time and not yeast. Please take meds as prescribed to dissolve kidney stones. Drink plenty of water.
