Hi.. Both the medications belong to the same group of drugs. If taken together, it can cause drowsiness in a few.. If consumed in a higher can lead to benzodiazepine toxicity which can cause respiratory difficulties too..Prolonged usage can increase the tolerance to benzodiazepine group of drugs.. Hence use of the medication together has to be done only when prescribed by your doctors..
