Can You Get Cellulitis From A Minor Cut?

Hello, had a blister on top of my foot, ignored it. Wore shoes without cleaning it too much, and it s about a week old. It seemed to be getting better but wore a really tight pair of shoes that reopenned the blister, now it s very red and painful and two red lines have started to branch out about an inch in both directions. I know about cellulitis, but can it come from such a small cut?

Hi,

Cellulitis can develop from a small cut and even without trauma cellulitis can develop.
As of now better to start a short course of antibiotics preferably amoxclav.
Apply glyceryl magsulf ointment also to reduce pain and edema.
